So we’re reaching the end of the UT Apartment leasing season, and school starts in just a few short days at UT Austin. But while most of the West Campus inventory is taken, there are plenty of apartments, houses, and condos in West Campus just waiting for someone who has the last minute need for a place near UT and for whatever reason has waited until the final days to lock something down. The explosion of apartment construction in the past five years near UT has not gone unnoticed, but during the same period many smaller projects with a lower profile among student populations have come on the scene as well. Just northwest of UT Campus a brand new property has emerged in 2009 that hasn’t received as much attention as new West Campus projects such as the Vintage or 21 Rio, but should.
